6.0 Summary of commands

Starting a new system

1. First time start-up

$ LEGION_HOST_BIN=PCDUnixHost
[If using a PCD host as bootstrap]
$ legion_setup_state
$ legion_startup
$ legion_initialize

2. Set the environment

$ $LEGION_OPR/setup{sh|csh}

3. Security (if desired)

$ legion_init_security
$ legion_login /users/admin

Shutdown

1. Shutdown

$ legion_shutdown

2. If security was enabled, you'll have to clean up some objects by hand (Legion cannot shut down non-admin objects)

Restart

1. Restart the system

$ legion_startup

2. Set the environment

$ $LEGION_OPR/setup{sh|csh}
